Our museum space lets you discover the history of parchment and leather, as well as the parchment and tannery trades.
We invite you to come and perfect your skills in working with hides and skins, and admire the last remaining hide dryer in Annonay, a town renowned for its tanning expertise since medieval times.
You’ll get to know Tannerie Parcheminerie Dumas through its history, the diversity of the trades involved and the varied uses of the finished product.
You’ll also be able to watch parchment being made in our glass gallery overlooking the parchment factory, which is still in operation.
Admission is €6 / adult (over 12).
For children and pre-teens (aged 6 to 12) the price is €4.
Admission is free for children under 6.
The Museum is open Monday to Friday, 2pm to 6pm.
