The Association of Friends of Parchment and Leather is pleased to invite you to come and discover or rediscover
the Museum of the Parchment of the Dumas Tannery,
a unique place in France dedicated to the art and tradition of leather and parchment work.
Located in the heart of the historic premises of the Marcel Dumas et Cie establishments,
The museum offers you a fascinating immersive dive into an ancestral profession,
through authentic tools, sometimes demonstrations, precious archives,
and an educational path accessible to all.
π Opening hours
The museum is open to visitors (free visit):
- Monday to Friday
- From 2 pm to 6 pm
Closed weekly on Saturday and Sunday.
Groups and guided tours by reservation all year round (possibility outside the above hours)
ποΈ Rates
- Adult : 6 β¬
- Child (6 to 12 years old): β¬4
- Free for children under 6 years old
- Group rate (from 10 people): 5 β¬/person
- Guided tour (by reservation): FLAT RATE of 50 β¬ for less than 10 people.
Your ticket contributes directly to the support of the association and the preservation of this unique artisanal heritage.

The museum does not just exhibit: it brings to life the gestures of the former tanners and parchment makers on a daily basis
but also during demonstrations during “event” days.
